Project: Dawn Landes & The Hounds
We were hired by former Louisvillian Dawn Landes to create a silk-screened poster to sell on tour for her most recent album, Sweetheart Rodeo. The brief was simple… It just needed to say Dawn Landes and the Hounds (her backing band) somewhere on the poster. Amanda drew the rodeo bull and Ty hand-lettered the type and embellishments. We felt the art evoked a classic americana, letter-pressed feeling that suited Dawn’s music.
